The freedom and opportunity available in America was a main cause for many of the immigrants to come to America. There was also a sense of adventure found in America that excited many. Many immigrants from such places as England and Germany seeked religious freedoms. The Germans also fled Germany because of economic oppression. The mass amount of natural resources supported American economics because there was no shortage of resources, there was plenty of land for the many farmers and the land was was fertile allowing great products to be produced. Land was inexpensive, if having a cost at all, so profits were secure. The new resources found in the New World were in high demand because they were new.
