The effect of a natural disaster can be shown by an inward contraction of the production possibility frontier. Production–possibility frontier (PPF) or also refered to as production possibility curve (PPC) is the graph that shows the possible combinations of two goods. Technological improvements for example shift the PPF outward, while nature disasters shift the PPF inward.
