The number 3.453 has two 3s.why does each have a Different value ?

Because when a number is farther away from the decimal point, it changes. The first 3 is just 3, but the second is .003, which makes it a smaller number.

The two threes have different values as one three is in the one unit and the other is in the thousandth unit. Hope this helps
