Why is earths interior hot? Where does the heat come from?

It is hot. The heat comes fro both the core and magma. Hope this helped :)

The earth interior is hot because of radiogenic heat produced by the radioactive decay of isotopes in the mantle and crust, in other words it is the flow of magma and melted rock in the earths core generating friction and heat.
