How do I solve a liner equation in the form a(x-b)=cx? I have no idea plz help-example-1

Distribute on the left
3x-15=7x

Subtract 3x from both sides
-15= 4x

Divide both sides by 4
-15/4= x

Final answer: x=-15/4 or -3.75
