It is not possible for a city (or anything for that matter) to be located 120°S 30°W, this is because lines of latitude only go up to 90° north or south, (South Pole being 90°S and the North Pole at 90°N). Hope this helps :)

Answer:

Not possible

Step-by-step explanation:

It is not possible for a city to be located at 120° S and 30° W. It is because the earth is equally divided into into two hemispheres, where the latitudes starts from 0° at equator to 90° at poles, and the longitudes starts from 0° to 180° measuring from east to west direction or west to east direction.

Thus, no place can exist beyond 90° in both the hemisphere.
