First write down what we know...
l = w + 6
perimeter = 2l + 2w = 72
2l + 2w = 72
l + w = 36
Substitute l with (w + 6)...
(w + 6) + w = 36
2w + 6 = 36
2w = 30
w = 15
Width is 15m, so that means the Length is 21m.
