Name one similarity and one difference between the governments of Germany and Britain.

Both governments have a bicameral legislating body made up of elected representatives in one section and appointed persons in the other: England has the House of Commons/House of Lords and Germany the Bundestag/Bundesrat. Unlike the monarchy of England, however, the UK has an elected President who is considered Chief of State.
