Doing a scientific method project...

I need to do a poster on "Does reading increase student achievement?" I need to use the methods such as hypothesis, analyze data, conduct experiment & conclusion. Can someone help me with these steps to get started?

For hypotheses start off with "if students read more then there achievements will go up/ then there achievements will remain the same. For analyzing data collect data for the experiment and state if weather or not it supported your hypothesis. For conducting the experiment and conclusion make sure your results from the experiment are restarted in the conclusion
