In his childhood, Beowulf was seen as nice looking and of incredible stature, however lethargic and too well-meaning to be a lot of a warrior. As he develops, he substantiates himself and his valiance in a swimming challenge against the kingdom's best swimmer and is then seen as an overcome and intense pioneer deserving of regard. He leaves trying to demonstrate his value and win regard, respect, acclaim, and brilliance.
