A third-degree polynomial has 4 intercepts. A third-degree function can have as many as 3 zeros only. Is there a way for both statements to be correct? Explain your answer.

This is possible, because intercepts include both x-intercepts, and y-intercepts. There are 3 zeros in a third-degree polynomial, and 4 intercepts, because the graph crosses the x-axis 3 times, and the y-axis once. Hope this helps!
