Claim: Yes, living things are dependent on non-living things
Evidence: All living things depend on the sun, and it is not living. All living things need some amount water, but it is not living either.
Reasoning: The whole idea creates a balance, and without it, we would be unable to survive. All things, non living and living are important to preserve because then nothing would be here. There are so many different ecosystems that would no longer be able to exist.
