A sweater was originally $55. It is now marked down to 65% of its original price. How much is the sweater now?

If you do 55 x .65 it equals to $35.75 cents which is your answer!

55 x .65 = 35.75

55 - 37.75 = 19.25

first you multiply the two numbers together, then you subtract the number you get with the original number, and then you get the marked down price
