The Road Accident Fund is a state-sponsored fund in South Africa which provides cover to all road users nationals and foreigners, against injury or death resulting from accidents involved with vehicles. This cover comes in the form of an indemnity insurance policy, given to the drivers at fault in addition to the injury or insurance to victims and their families. On the other hand, the driver who caused the accident cannot claim for anything.
