if anyone ever looks this question up for an answer while they're taking a test, they might blindly look at the other answer thinking about the question, they'll get it wrong. The answer is B. Puritans had beliefs, and were religious. So as they spoke freely through most of their life, their writing portrayed the same thing.

it's A because it's the main reason they used literature we still do it to this day.
