350 × 8 = 2,800
Divide 2, 800 by 1. It would be hundred, but since we have cancelled out the zeros earlier, it would be as 1.
2,800÷ 1 = 2,800
Now, we come to the point of "percentage increase".
We have to add 2,800 and 35,000 to get the bank manager's new salary.
2,800 + 35,000 = 37,800.
Thus, the new salary of the bank manager is $ 37,800.
