Being imaginative in doing science means combining science and art. It relies on the imagination and creativity of person but still working within the confines of the scientific laws and principles. Practicing pseudoscience, on the other hand, relies too much on imagination without proper consideration of the basic scientific methodology of proving theories & hypothesis.
