According to erikson, the stage of intimacy versus isolation involves the need to share one's personal life with someone else. It is the sixth stage of Erikson's theory of psychosocial development. It happens from age 19 to 40. At this phase, the primary conflict is on formation of loving and intimate relationship with the people. The major question here would be "will I be loved or will I be living alone?". The important event at this stage are romantic relationships. At this stage, a person should be able to establish relationships with other people or else it would make him fell isolated and alone.
