When I lived in Seoul, so much as someone speaking of a North Korean communication could prompt many safety drills in schools and work places. the fact that one person could be carrying both South and North Korean money would mean that he/she would need to use both sets of currency, and could therefore be a spy or leak Southern information into the north.
