The equation 14m = 400.40 can be used to find the cost per yard m, in dollars, of mulch. what is the value of m?

he is right. but if you put the answer make sure it has the tenths place its 28.60 if you put 28.6 it will say its incorrect.!!!!

To find m, simply divide both sides by 14.

14m/14 = 400.4/14

The 14s on the left cancel out and your left with

m = 400.4/14
m = 28.6
