Cancer is a range of diseases that occur when cell division becomes uncontrollable and continues indefinitely. It can effect many different parts of the body such as the lungs, liver, skin and throat. One factor that can cause the cell cycle to lose control is genetic predisposition. You are more likely to get cancer if your close relatives have had the disease in the past.
