What is 3y+5x=-15 written in slope-intercept form

Slope-intercept form is y=mx+b, so we simply have to solve for y...

3y+5x=-15 subtract 5x from both sides

3y=-5x-15 divide both sides by 3

y=-5x/3-5 or more neatly in my opinion...

y=(-5x-15)/3
