The table and the graph below each show a different relationship between the same two variables, x and y:

How much more would the value of y be on the graph than its value in the table when x = 12?
Please just help me understand, do not give me the answer! thank you

Notice how both the table and the graph are lines. Moreover, they pass through the origin, so you could find y = a * x in each case, then substitute x=12, and compare each value. It says how much more, so the correct thing is to subtract. If it were how many times, then divide. Is that all you need? You don;t want the solution
