PLEASE HELP. Factor the equation y = x^2 - 2

Notice that we can factor as if it were a difference of squares.

The rule for the factors is such for a difference of squares:

(a^2-b^2)=(a+b)(a-b)

In this case:

y=(x-√2)(x+√2)
