Amy's behavior is showing the gender schema. The gender schema shows or represents of how the individual should act base on the gender he or she acquires. It is a way of how an individual's characteristics are being maintained or how it is also being transmitted with the help or involvement of the people's way of life or culture. It could be seen above as Amy argued that girls wear dresses because she has the thought of girls wearing dress in which she knew and saw.
