144 - 120 / 30 - 25

24/ 5 = 4.8

(change in output)/(change in input)
or
(change in total cost)/(change in number of tickets)
so if you have (x1,y1) and (x2,y2) the rate of change is (y2-y1)/(x2-x1)

(x,y) wher x is number of tickets and y is total cost

(25,120) and (30,144)
(144-120)/(30-25)=24/5=4.8 per tiket
