Because you need to know the consequences and how they can affect you. Decision-making is important because there are consequences to making the wrong decision. So is better that you know all of the consequences before you make a decision that's right.

The answer is explained below.

Step-by-step explanation:

When one is examining the decisions making process, it is very important to think about the consequences since they are going to be an impact and also they are going to have one on further decisions. Also, doing so will give the decision maker the ability to know if his projects can be reliable or if the effects will be good or bad.
