What was wilson's plan for peace and what did it involve?

President Wilson opened the Fourteen Points in Congress as his way of achieving peace. Part of the solution is to lessen armaments, remove economic barriers, stop secret treaties. He also gave word for self-determination in countries, and independence. It was made as a basis for the Treaty of Versailles.
