Adequate vitamin D intake has been associated with INHIBITING THE DEVELOPMENT OF AUTOIMMUNE DISORDER. Vitamin D is very important in human health because it affect a lot of biochemical processes in the body. Lack of vitamin D result in different types of disorders such as: increased risk of having type 1 diabetes mellitus, cardiovascular diseases, some types of cancer, depression, cognitive decline, etc.
