The ideas about land ownership and boundaries from the excerpt “Mending Wall” by Robert Frost express is that ownership and boundaries are irrelevant. The poem also show the downside of a traditionally-minded person of why they should repair the walls when in fact there are no property that have to be kept. When the person asked his neighbor why they should keep on maintaining the wall, he just said that good walls makes good neighbors which for him, does not make any sense.
