Self understanding of children from early childhood to late childhood changes by describing themselves through psychological traits and characteristics. During late childhood, children have more understanding in events that would lead emotional response and are better at suppressing emotions that are negative. They are mentally aware of what is going on around and are more likely to be affected easily emotionally. They can have so many ideas for even small events.
