I'm assuming the diagonal is 53 feet...

Use Pythagorean Theorem

A = \sqrt{ C^(2) - B^(2) } A = \sqrt{53^(2) - 45^(2) } A = √(2809 - 2025) A = √(784) A = 28

Therefore the width is 28 feet
