A=(3.14)r^2
1808.64=3.14r^2
÷3.14 both sides
576=r^2
square root both sides
r=24

area = PI 8 R^2

so 1808.64 = PI * r^2

1808.64 = (3.14) x r^2

divide both sides by pi

576 = r^2

now find square root of 576 for r = 24 miles
