An equation that can represent this is y=1x+2. First you must calculate the slope. I did 6-2/4-0 and got 1. Then I plugged in 1 into the equation y=1x+b. I then plugged in the points (0,2) and solved for b ( 2=1(0)+b ). You get the answer 2. So again, the final equation would be y=1x + 2

(0,2)(4,6)
slope(m) = (6 - 2) / (4 - 0) = 4/4 = 1
y = mx + b
slope(m) = 1
use either of ur points...(0,2)...x = 0 and y = 2
now sub and find b, the y int
2 = 1(0) + b
2 = b
so ur equation is : y = x + 2 <==
