The correct answer is C) the 14th Amendment.

In Plessy vs. Ferguson, Homer Plessy claimed that "sperate but equal" violated his rights under the 14th Amendment.

The Fuller Court decided the case Plessy v. Ferguson on May 18, 1896. Homer Plessy had been arrested for seating in a place for whites only of a Louisiana train. His lawyers argued that the Separated Car ACt violate two important amendments of the US Constitution: the 13th and 14th Amendments. However, Cout's final decision was that the law was Constitutional.

The other options of the question were A) First Amendment. B( 13th Amendment. D) 15th Amendment.
