I don't think so because Pinocchio s not lying when he says he's nose will grow

unless he is telling a lie

Depending on what happens. Note that his nose didn't grow shorter even if he said the truth in the beginning of the story. When he says "and now my nose will grow" it wouldn't grow for it as being a lie, it would grow if he JUST told a lie, and it wouldn't have become smaller either
