first you would find your domain which is your x the you find your range which is the y then you get the answer -2 <x_<3 which in your case is option A.

the domain is ur x values....so going along the line on ur x axis.....open circle means no equal sign....closed circle means there is an equal sign...
-2 < x < = 3
