Birth control is the method or device used to prevent pregnancy. There are two main types of birth control: barrier contraception and hormonal contraception.
Barrier contraception are devices physically prevent pregnancy (prevent the sperm from entering the uterus). They include male condoms, female condoms, cervical caps, diaphragms, and contraceptive sponges.
Hormonal contraception includes pills, implants, injections, patches...
Also surgical sterilization is a possible method.
