If a sailboat and a motorboat are both underway, when is the sailboat the give-way vessel?

The sailboat will be the give-way vessel or it will have the right of way always unless they are using the motor power of the sail or if the other boat cannot travel, then the sailboat would have to give way. Also, a sailboat will give the right of way too large ships that cannot maneuver. When a sailboat is in motor power, it will be measured as a powerboat.Vessels indicate their intention to maneuver by the victimization of sound signals. If you do not accept as true with or perceive clearly what the opposite vessel's intentions are, you ought to sound the danger or doubt signal.
