Metal can conduct electricity. (some metal)
Metal can have a shiny appearance, or a dull look, sometimes rusted
Some metal can be quite malleable. a thin and usually low carbon metal can be bent with your hands. some requires something else like a vice for stronger pressure. but its most malleable when heated (forging)

non metal products, such as wood doesn't conduct electricity.
non metal isnt shiny and has a wider range of color, shape, density etc
non metal can burn (not in all instances)
