Cultural context would be especially important for a reader trying to understand how society interprets the traits of a character.

The society in which the character lives in is looked over in the cultural context. Further, it looks at the effect on behavior and opportunities due to culture. It relates to thinking about the beliefs that the character have. Gender role, social status, job, stereotypes, and ethnicity are the most powerful sources in the society. In addition, culture affects our living style and behavior and can limit our freedom.
