What foreign policy issues interfered with Johnson's great society? Please help ASAP!!

It was mostly his policies about the Vietnam war because he was a supporter of it. The idea of a great society with human rights and freedoms and equality were not really in coordination with his Vietnam stance where exactly the opposite things were happening. That's why he wasn't fully supported by both Democrats and the Republicans.
