Equation #1: 7x =
21.25
Equation #2: 3(y - 2) = 12

Equation 1:
7x = 21.25 or
21.25/7 = x
21.25/7 = 3.03571429
so x = 3.03(just round to whatever place u need).

Equation 2:
3(y - 2) = 12 or
3(x)=12
x=4
so y - 2 has to equal 4
and 6-2 = 4 therefore
y = 6.
