Explanation:

Given: If
x = 3 + 4i and
y = 5 + 6i,

Then x × y = y × x

  • The commutative property of multiplication says that two expressions can be multiplied in either order. The answer remains unchanged with by changing the order i.e. ab=ba, where a and b be any two real numbers expressions .

Therefore the property of multiplication shown above is commutative property of multiplication.
