A rectangular prism is 10 inches long, 6 inches wide, and 4 inches high. What is the surface area of this prism in square inches? PLEASE EXPLAIN;))

Hello,
Here is the formula:
S.A.=(l+w)×2×h+l×w×2
Then, we just substitute this
S.A=(10+6)×2×4+10×6×2
S.A.=16×2×4+60×2
S.A.=32×4+120
S.A.=128+120
S.A=228 square inches. As a result, the surface area of this rectangular prism is 228 square inches. Hope it help!

the formula to this is 2(lw plus wh plus hl)

10 times 6 equal 60
6 times 4 equal 24
4 times 10 equal 40
when u add that u get 124 times 2 is 248
