Luther's speech is important, because people are still fighting for their freedom today. His speech inspires us to gain our freedom, but in a peaceful way. Hope this answers your question.

Well, the "I Have a Dream" speech has to do with slavery and racism. Back then Abe Lincoln tried to have all of that stop but it just kept happening. So Martin Luther King Jr. thought it was wrong and gave this speech to let everyone know. It is so important to this day because Martin was brave enough to show everyone how he felt, this speech is a symbol of freedom, and rights for everybody. Hope this helps! :)
