Line AB goes through the points A (0, –4) and B (6, 2). Which equation represents line AB?

First you need to find the slope between the two points.
2--4=6
6-0=6
6/6=1 is your slope then plug in a point and slope into the point slope formula and simplify.
y-2=1(x-6)
y-2=x-6
y=x-4 is the formula of the line.
