y intercept is where the line crosses the y axis or where x=0

x is normally the time or input and y or f(x) is ouput

f(x)
original deposit means no time has elapsed, or x=0
that is 6 dollars

g(x)
trial and error
um
we get that the y intercept is at y=5

h(x)
y intercept at y=4

j(x)
j(0)=10(2)^0=10(1)=10

so
the y intercepts
f(x), 6
g(x), 5
h(x), 4
j(x), 10

j(x) has highetst x intercept
