C) insurance for the disadvantaged.

The Great Society, as policies initiatives, legislation and programs, aimed to end poverty and racial injustice, reduce crime and improve the enviroment. Its programs addressed urban problems, education, transportation, medical care, among others. It was specially directed to the poor and people in disadvantage or most vulnerable.

During Johnson' presidency, he made Medicare and Medicaid laws. Medicare provided insurance for the eldery that qualified and Medicaid guaranteed individuals with lower incomes to have access to health care.
