Wowza, our teach asks some pretty morbid questions, but alright that's cool I guess. I would represent the massive bob, or the weight. The rope would could represent the massless rod. When I was not moving and I was still, I was at the equilibrium position. The angle at which i swing compered to the position of the rope at my equilibrium position would be called the amplitude.
